This installation shows Eccles Elementary at the center surrounded by landmarks features of Canby, then Oregon, the United States, the world, and finally the universe (although obviously the universe can’t have landmarks so instead it contains the universes greatest hits.)
The Lincoln Park School community united to create a beautiful glass mural (this shows just 10 of the 104, 8x10 panels - click on the link below to see them all) depicting the foothills of Mt. Hood festooned with trees of bold colors signifying the diversity of the population and the strength and beauty the diversity adds to the whole. Here is a link to the process blog of the mural’s creation.
This mural, completed in the spring of 2015, was created by first through fifth-grade students and depicts imagery from the Carus School Song. It measures 10 ' x 6' feet. Each section is 10" x 8".
